Privacy Policy
Plain language. No legalese. Here is exactly what we collect, what we don't, and why.
1. Who we are
LIA — Legal Intelligence is an iOS application developed and operated by Architect-DNA Systems, based in Switzerland. Questions about this policy can be directed to systems@architect-dna.ch.
2. What we collect
We collect only one piece of personal data:
- Email address — used solely for account authentication via Supabase (our authentication provider). It is not used for marketing or shared with third parties.
We do not collect your name, location, device identifiers, or any behavioural analytics.
3. What we do not collect
- Your documents or any content stored in the app
- Encryption keys or passphrases
- Usage analytics or crash diagnostics tied to your identity
- Advertising identifiers
4. How your documents are protected
All documents are end-to-end encrypted on your device using keys that never leave it. Uploaded ciphertext is stored securely; even if our infrastructure were compromised, your documents would remain unreadable to any third party.
5. Authentication
LIA uses Supabase for authentication. When you create an account or sign in, your email address is processed by Supabase under their own privacy policy and data processing agreement. Supabase infrastructure is located in the EU.
6. Data retention
Your email address is retained for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, your authentication record and any stored ciphertext are permanently removed. To request account deletion, email systems@architect-dna.ch.
7. Your rights
Under Swiss data protection law (revDSG) and, where applicable, the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or erase the personal data we hold about you. Contact us at the address above to exercise these rights.
8. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you via the app or email.
9. Governing law
This policy and any disputes arising from it are governed exclusively by Swiss law. The courts of Switzerland have jurisdiction.
